Savings & Investment Club
The Savings and Investment Club is designed to teach students the importance of planning one’s finances. In general, we teach students the skills of long and short term investing in the stock market. We review the many options that are available for young investors as well as the basics needed to understand the importance of planning. Throughout the year, each student is required to establish an individual portfolio. Within the portfolio students are asked to record the stocks they are invested in as well as the goals in which they hope to achieve. By the end of the year, the individual who successfully achieves their goals is recognized and awarded.
