Freshman Mentors
Freshmen Mentors is a program designed to ease the transition into high school for freshmen, and to develop leadership skills in seniors. As part of the program, senior mentors meet with small groups of freshmen during homeroom every other week. In this way, the seniors serve as a helping hand for freshmen who are trying to adjust to life at St. Edmund Prep.
Seniors who are interested in becoming Mentors are asked to fill out an application at the end of their junior year. Students who are chosen to be Mentors complete extensive training before the school year begins, as well as continuous training throughout the school year.
