Writing & Photo Contest
Attention all 8th Grade Students! You are invited to enter the St. Edmund Preparatory High School Writing Contest. The contest requires you to write an essay about someone who has influenced your life.
The 2011 winner, Cassidy Green from Mary Queen of Heaven School, wrote a wonderful essay about her Aunt, Nellie, who taught her, through her example what it means to spend your life in the service of the others. Cassidy and her family attended an event at the Prep where they were recognized for their contributions.
The 2011 Photo Contest winner, Celeste Hernandez from St. Francis Xavier School, took the photo "An Afternoon in the Snow". Her picture was chosen because it captured the true spirit of this year's theme " The Beauty that Surrounds Us".
Entering is easy and prizes will be awarded. Submission guidelines and rules are below. We look forward to reading your essays. Good luck to all!
