Writing & Photo Contest
Attention all 8th Grade Students! You are invited to enter the St. Edmund Preparatory High School Writing Contest. The contest requires you to write an essay about someone who has influenced your life.
The 2013 winner, Roksolana Dushynska from IS 206 Joseph F. Lamb School, wrote a wonderful essay about her sister Daniela, who taught her, through her battle with difficulty early on in her life about perseverance and love.
The 2013 Photo Contest winner, Tatum Gargiulo from St. Mary Mother of Jesus/St. Francis Cabrini Academy, took the photo "A Childs Love". Her picture was chosen because it captured the true spirit of this year's theme " The Beauty that Surrounds Us".
Entering is easy and prizes will be awarded. Submission guidelines and rules are below. We look forward to reading your essays. Good luck to all!
