To help raise funds to assist the people of Puerto Rico, our students organized a Hurricane Relief Basketball Game on November 1st.
The 3-on-3 basketball tournament saw each grade level represented by four teams of three students and one adult (faculty, staff, or alumni). Students purchased raffle tickets for a chance to play in the game. Those not chosen to play in the game were invited to stay and watch the games.
In total, over $2400 was raised from the raffle ticket sales, game day ticket sales, and hurricane relief bake sales. These monies have already been donated to the Sisters of St. Joseph in Puerto Rico and will go a long way to assist the sisters in their missionary work.
