Model Congress

America always has and always will be a country where the people can voice their opinions about the state of the country through the power of the vote. This club will allow you to take the next step and act as either a member of the United States Senate or the House of Representatives. You will learn about the basic working of the American government and how a simple idea can become a law. You will be taught how to debate different topics, write, discuss, and vote on bills that you have created with your teammates. No prior experience is needed. If you were on a debate team in middle school, this could be a new challenge for you!
