Construction Update

On February 14, 2007 St. Edmund Prep announced the construction of a new Library & Media Center at a groundbreaking ceremony. The new wing will be the first significant expansion of St. Edmund Prep since the current high school building was built in 1962. It will provide many new and much needed facilities that will allow St. Edmund Prep to continue to provide an excellent Catholic education to the young men and women of Brooklyn and Queens. During the summer of 2006, our existing science labs and library were completely renovated to form three state-of-the-art Science Labs. Each lab has SmartBoard and wireless network technology, in addition to modern furnshings and new lab equipment. Additional storage space and offices for the Science Department were also created.
