COVID-19 Message

Dear Future Members of the SEP Family,
On behalf of the St. Edmund Preparatory High School community, I wanted to extend my best wishes to you and your loved ones during these challenging, and often uncertain, times.
Many families have experienced disruptions to their daily lives, whether it is at school or the workplace, which has led to increased anxieties about the future. We here at St. Edmund Prep do not want to add applying to high school to that list of worries. The Admissions Office is committed to ensuring an admissions process that is fair and accommodating to those young students who may have experienced cancellations in standardized testing, changes to grading procedures, and postponements to extracurricular activities in the 7th, and possibly, 8th grades.
Our motto at St. Edmund Prep is Caritas, the Christ-like love and compassion for all humankind. It is a motto that our community lives and breathes as we nurture the young men and women in our building to be the uncommon leaders of tomorrow – leaders who, by their actions and their morals, will inspire others through their faith, virtue, and knowledge as they build a better world for all.
That compassion extends to you, the future Eagles of St. Edmund Prep, as you begin an exciting journey of discovering the high school that is the best choice for you, albeit in a different way than perhaps the St. Edmund Prep alumni before you have experienced. Please know that our prayers are with you.
In the meantime, my recommendation would be to use the admissions page on our website as a reference for some of the changes in admissions procedures this fall. We want to provide opportunities for you to connect with our family in meaningful, but most importantly, in safe ways. Some of those opportunities will be in-person programs, while others will be virtual programs.
Regardless, the Admissions Office at St. Edmund Preparatory High School is here to support you during the application process. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions you may have. I’m happy to help.
Stay well and my best wishes to you and your loved ones.
