It is critically important to create well-rounded student that can think. I saw the building I saw the people and I fell in love with the school most people go on like 1 or 2 buddy days to go see the school I went on probably around 6. You're greeted and you're welcomed into the school. I found my vocation here. I definitely think I've come into myself more. You feel very close to everyone. Everybody knows everybody and everybody wants to know everybody. I'm not  just here to learn but at the same time I know that I have a family around me that can help encourage me. I think the one thing that drew me into the school is the amount of extracurricular activities that they have or clubs. Kids is what makes the school so great. Nobody feels judged here. The students feel comfortable with their teachers. When our students leave here they understand that their stuff out there that there is a world out there that needs their help. I think it's good that there's always a lot of the community events that we have in the school. We have things like Midnight Run and Street Corner Gourmet and all these things the students don't have to show up to but they volunteer their own time A) for their community and B) for their school.  How are they going to represent themselves, their family, our school. Now we offer a partnership with colleges to get college credit, we have the International Baccalaureate program. It really prepares you for college in a way that no other program can. You learn how to ask questions you learn to look at different perspectives. I definitely feel way more prepared to go to college. Every teacher here wants you to be the best they don't let you quit. Whenever I needed to ,whenever I needed extra help they've always been willing to help me out. Because we believe that they can and because we believe that they can. they believe they can. Now I feel like I am more confident in who I am as a person. I feel like St. Edmund shaped me to become more bold. A good class is where students are actually doing something where they're actually learning things on their own,  where they leave that class every single day saying "Wow, that's interesting". Lifelong learning, that is a big line in the mission of the school.  They see how we learn, they see what we are stronger at, they see what we struggle with, and they can help us from there. They teach me how to analyze subjects, they teach me how to really become a critical thinker. They just want us to be like the best versions of ourselves they want us to be disciplined. Empowering powering our students is giving them those opportunities, giving them those choices and those changes to see who's the person I'm going to become? Do you want to take that next step? Do you want to stay where you are? Let's discuss what you might be interested in. Have you ever considered this course? How can we help you? How can they do better? What are they going to do in real life? and we are preparing them for it. They didn't even know me but they were so invested in my interests and who I was. They see the potential that you may not see. Teachers are brutally honest and they were like, they're going to be hard time things are going to get difficult but it's ok because you get past those things. That those are experiences to help you. They really feel like they can be themselves. Just being out there having a positive attitude and also being courageous. We try to strike the correct balance between allowing others to feel comfortable and welcome and not at all be an outsider at the same point of not being abashedly Catholic or apologetically Catholic for our own faith. There still the core beliefs, the core values that will never go away. Just because we're a Catholic School doesn't mean we're stuck in the past.  Just the Makerspace right shows that were adapting to the world around us. St. Edmund Prep is thriving right now. We are doing things that we only hoped would happen. Year after year, St. Edmund Prep takes a good look at itself and says how can we do better? We know exactly what we're aiming for and we will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.
