The Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Maria Regina on Saturday afternoon in the finals of the CHSAA A-Division Intersectional Championship Tournament to claim the school's first New York City title since 1987. The Eagles, led by co-captains Claire McNeice '19 and Christina Morales '18, batted to a five-set victory in a classic match. This caps an undefeated season that saw the SEP squad win their division and earn the Brooklyn-Queens Championship.
Beyond the success on the court, the Eagles were also standout members of the community. The team's Dig Pink efforts coordinated by Stephanie Cacace '18, raised over $4,500 for Breast Cancer awareness and research through our partnership with the Side Out Foundation. Congratulations to the players and coach Kathleen O'Neill on a fantastic season.
