St. Edmund Preparatory High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school serving the young men and women of the New York City area. Consistent with our Gospel values, our school is committed to the education of the whole person. As a community that values faith, knowledge, and service, St. Edmund Prep provides students with a spiritual, academic and extra-curricular environment. Students are expected, through their experiences in the classroom and as active members of the school community, to develop attributes based on the Gospel values including personal responsibility, social responsibility, critical-thinking ability, and appreciation for the complexity of the world. In partnership with parents; the administrators, staff, and faculty of St. Edmund Prep maintain a dynamic, student-centered environment, one that affords our young women and men every opportunity to achieve excellence.

 

Faculty and Staff at St. Edmund Prep have the primary responsibility to implement the school philosophy through the practice of their own faith, through instructional excellence, through participation in the creation of a school community, and through their role as a bridge between the individual student and the world community.
