Jefferson is offering a Fashion Merchandising and ManagementSummer Workshop on Thursday, July 18, 2019. This free, one day workshop gives high school students the opportunity to learn about careers in the field of Fashion Merchandising and Management. The workshop will include an overview of the field, a career panel as well as a field trip to visit retailers in charming Manayunk. Did you know, Fashionista ranks Jefferson’s fashion programs no. 7 in the world and no. 3 in the United States? The Fashion Merchandising and Management program offers an innovative curriculum, industry engagement and alumni connections. Our students work with top designers, participate in New York Fashion Week and study abroad. Here is a glimpse of the day:
- 10:00 – 10:30 Fashion Merchandising and Management Overview
- 10:30 – 11:30 Jefferson-East Falls campus tour including the Fashion and Textiles Future Center
- 11:30 – 12:30 Enjoy Lunch on Campus
- 12:30 – 1:15 Career Panel
- 1:30 – 3:30 Visit to Manayunk (students only)
- 1:30 – 3:30 Optional Parent Programming
