Det. Calabrese was a veteran member of the Brooklyn South homicide squad and chairman of the board of the Detectives Endowment Association. His relationship with St. Edmund Prep as a parent spanned more than 13 years.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Jo Anne, his children Joseph '10, Nicholas '12, Samantha '14, and Angelina '22, and to the entire Calabrese family during this most difficult time. We mourn Joseph's passing and ask the entire Prep community to keep Joseph and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
