The Gates Scholarship helps outstanding minority students who come from low-income backgrounds to realize their maximum potential. This prestigious scholarship program is based on evidence that by eliminating the financial barriers to college, a last-dollar scholarship can enable high-potential, low-income minority students to excel in their course work, graduate college, and continue to be leaders throughout their lives. The Gates Scholarship covers the full cost of attendance to the four-year university of the scholars choice.
During his time at St. Edmund Prep Yves has excelled across the board. As an IB Diploma candidate, Yves has achieved a 101.52 Cumulative GPA while remaining an active member of our school community. He has served as a student member of our Strategic Planning Committee, an award winning member of our Model Congress team, and the President of our National Honor Society. Yves is an SEP Ambassador, Freshman Mentor, and a member of the Varsity Boys Soccer team. He is also an altar server at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish.
