Members of the freshman class spent time in homeroom small groups reflecting on what it means to be blessed, the ways that they are personally blessed, and how they could share their blessings with the SEP community during their time on Ocean Avenue.
When asked about the day Deacon Andrew Ciccaroni, Director of Campus Ministry said, "After the past 20+ months, it was a beautiful opportunity to gather the freshmen in about a normal a way that we could to reflect, to pray and to join in fellowship. I hope this day will bear much fruit for the Class of 2025 as they begin their time at St. Edmund Prep."
The day concluded with mass celebrated by Prep Chaplain, Fr. Michael Gribbon, and concelebrated by Fr. Luke Trocha, Pastor of St. Edmund Parish and Chairman of the SEP Board of Trustees and Fr. Mark Amatrucola, co, Director of Technology. During the Mass two seniors, Edin Morales '22, and Francesca Zito '22 shared reflections on their time at St. Edmund Prep and the many ways that SEP has been a blessing to their own lives, encouraging the members of the freshmen class to take advantage of the opportunities presented to them over the next four years.
At the conclusion of mass, Fr. Mike blessed the members of the Class of 2025 asking the Lord to strengthen them as discover the ways they can be a blessing to each other.
