Students in the IB Visual Arts course have successfully completed advanced art classes throughout their four years at St. Edmund Prep as members of the sequential art program. The IB Visual Arts Exhibition is the final presentation of a student’s artistic journey, where they select, refine, and curate their best artworks into a meaningful exhibition, similar to a professional gallery show. The work presented explores a concept determined by each student in the spring of their junior year. Additionally, following years of media exploration, they strategically choose the medium in which they feel best represents their underlying theme or concept.
This year’s exhibits explored a variety of concepts ranging from gender roles, economic disparity, feelings of nostalgia, world issues and personal aspirations. Some students, such as Stephanie DelGaizo and Ana Kanashvili created full installations to accompany their work for a more immersive experience. Overall, these seniors put their hearts, souls and handiwork into curating their exhibits and are thankful to those who attended.

Students in the IB Theory of Knowledge course chose a prompt for Exhibition and then choose three objects that can be analyzed through the lens of this question. These objects were "real word" objects, meaning they needed to be specific and personal. Students then analyzed these objects in relation to the prompt and wrote about each of them. The prompts are all questions meant to explore knowing for example, "Are some things unknowable" or "What is the relationship between personal experience and knowledge?"
