Future Changemakers Fellowship | Onward Fellowship
The Future Changemakers Fellowship, led by Harvard student mentors in association with HPAIR (Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations), teaches students how to spot a problem worth solving, build a case for change, and defend their reasoning live to a panel. The programme takes fellows from stakeholder listening and systems thinking through campaign design and evidence-based storytelling, and finally a social impact project presented and defended in front of a changemaker panel.
Across three live weekends, every student ships a real campaign artefact and finishes by presenting a live Demo Day pitch and defending their theory of change. The curriculum entails:
- Stakeholder listening and empathy interviews — finding the real issue
- Systems thinking and root-cause mapping — where change is genuinely possible
- Designing and building a campaign artefact with a theory of change
- Presenting and defending live to a panel of changemakers on Demo Day
