Cosmic Pathways NYC. Explore what's possible in STEM. November 7. At Adelphi University. Free for High School Students

Do you have students who love math, science, engineering, or technology and are thinking about pursuing STEM in college?

I’d love to invite them to Cosmic Pathways NYC II, a free STEM conference taking place on Saturday, November 7, at Adelphi University’s Garden City campus on Long Island—just 23 miles from New York City and about a 45-minute train ride away.

Designed specifically for high school students exploring STEM careers, Cosmic Pathways gives students the opportunity to meet STEM professionals, explore college and career pathways, participate in hands-on workshops, and connect with other students who share their interests.

What Your Students Can Explore

Meet Successful STEM Professionals

Students will meet and connect with STEM professionals who have built careers in physics, mathematics, engineering, banking, and other fields. They’ll hear their stories, ask questions, and learn where a STEM degree can lead.

Take a Career Workshop

Students can explore topics including scientific computing with Wolfram, the creators of Wolfram|Alpha, and careers in particle physics.

Explore College & Career Pathways

Students can meet representatives from colleges and universities to learn about STEM majors, career possibilities, and pathways to college and graduate school.

Showcase Student Work

Students can also showcase what they’re doing at school. Robotics teams can request a table, and students with research projects can present their work as a talk or poster. For a robotics table, contact [email protected]. Research abstracts are due by October 7.
