Boys Town NYC hosted their annual Winter Soiree last night on the penthouse floor of the Mandarin Oriental. St. Edmund Prep lends their support to the organization that commits itself to servicing youth and families in need. The St. Edmund Prep Jazz Band with Director Joseph Gucciardi entertained the 200 guests with a mix of traditional jazz music and Christmas carols with a jazz flair. The Jazz Band quickly became the talk of the evening as guests learned that the musicians they were listening to were high school students. Our musicians conducted themselves with such maturity, grace and talent, allowing for an already extraordinary night to become that much more memorable in the hearts and minds of those who dedicate their time and talents to Boys Town.
