U.S. News Scholarship For High School Students

The U.S. News Path to College Scholarship is open to U.S. freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors in U.S. homeschool, public or private high schools who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university immediately following high school graduation. To apply for the need-blind scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 or equivalent scale and be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Two winners will be selected based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community volunteerism, leadership honors and awards, paid work experience and a brief essay. In the case of equivalent candidates, priority will be given based on the earlier date that this scholarship application is completed.

Children of U.S. News & World Report employees or those living in the same household as U.S. News & World Report employees are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship Amount:$2,500 Award per student
