Spirit Week 2018

Each grade level will participate as a team. Participation in each Spirit Week activity will earn students points. The team with the most points at the end of the week will earn a dress down day and will be forever memorialized on the Spirit Week Champions Trophy which will remain on display in the Cafeteria.

Banners
Each team will create a banner which will hang in the cafeteria. The winning team's banner will remain hanging until next year's spirit week.

Spirit Week Events
 
Monday, April 16th
Twin Day
  • Students will dress as “twins” with one another and/or teachers (a student favorite).
  • Photo backdrop available in cafeteria lobby periods 1 & 2; all participating students MUST
    photograph themselves (preferably w/ twin) prior to homeroom and post to their year in Google Classroom.
  • Every participating student is responsible for posting their photo to Google Classroom, or they will be considered out-of-uniform.
  • Homeroom reps will check names during homeroom.
After-school Lip Sync Battle hosted by Student Council
 
Tuesday, April 17th
Giving Tuesday
  • Students who donate blood or volunteer at the Spring Blood Drive will earn points for their teams. Those who cannot donate may earn points by having teachers, alumni, and parents donate for their team.
  • Hunger Awareness socks will be sold outside of cafeteria for additional points. Students may also donate canned foods (boxes outside cafeteria) for points.
Wednesday, April 18
Crazy Socks Day
  • Students may wear crazy socks with their uniform (pants may be cuffed to show-off socks).
Thursday, April 19th
Sports Day
  • Students will wear their favorite team (or SEP) jersey/shirt or accessory (such as a tie, headband, socks, etc.) to accent their uniform.
Three-on-three tournament after school (dismissal to approx. 4:00pm)

Friday, April 20th
SEP Pride Day
  • Students will dress in SEP clothing items.
Quiz Bowl
  • A random panel of volunteers from all 4 years will face off in the first round answering 10 questions. Questions will address all subject areas, including SEP culture.
  • The two high scores from the first round will move on to a final round face-off. The winning team will accumulate points towards their year total.
