Day of Giving

St. Edmund Prep's Day of Giving is a 24-hour campaign for support for the Canterbury Fund, which is comprised of annual unrestricted funds that afford our school the opportunity to strengthen a variety of initiatives that directly affect all of our programs each day. Support of the Canterbury Fund plays an important role in ensuring that current and future students receive the same transformative Catholic education that has shaped the lives of thousands of St. Edmund graduates since our founding in 1932.

Alumni, students, current and alumni parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends of St. Edmund Prep are all encouraged to support our Day of Giving! Together, we impact the next generation of Eagles!

There are many ways to participate in St. Edmund Prep’s Day of Giving! You may make a gift in honor of a teacher or coach who has had a great impact on your life, or you may choose to display your alumni pride by including your class year in your gift amount (for example, a graduate of the Class of 2012 may choose to give $20.12, $212, or even a monthly gift of $12!).

 

In many cases, you may even be able to double your impact, as there are many companies across the country that will match their employees’ charitable gifts, some will match gifts at a greater than one-to-one ratio! Check with your human resources department for more details.

We have spent the past year educating our community on the importance of the Canterbury Fund and how it supports our students and allows us to improve and enhance the unique education that we offer.  By hosting a Giving Day, we hope to create a larger influx of support for our Canterbury Fund, provide our supporters with an increased incentive to give that day as it will unlock funds to reach our goal, and bring attention to the importance of the fund in the life of our school and how it transform the students under our care.

Yes. Gifts made online for Day of Giving are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Donors receive an email confirmation after making their gift followed by a tax receipt in the mail within two weeks after your gift is processed.
