The Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Maria Regina on Saturday, November 11th in the finals of the CHSAA A-Division Intersectional Championship Tournament to claim the school's first New York City title since 1987. The Eagles, led by co-captains Claire McNeice '19 and Christina Morales '18, batted to a five-set victory in a classic match. This caps an undefeated season that saw the SEP squad win their division and earn the Brooklyn-Queens Championship.

St. Edmund Prep descended upon Marine Park on October 5th for its annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser. The monies raised this year will go to upgrading the audio system in our gym/auditorium. Thank you to all the families and friends who helped to support our students this year!

This week, we officially bid a fond farewell to our principal, our teacher, and our friend John Lorenzetti, who retires after a 48 year career in Catholic Education, the last 22 of which have been as principal of St. Edmund Prep. Members of our SEP Family wanted to share their thoughts on Mr. Lorenzettiʼs service to SEP and wish him well on his retirement.
Mr. Lorenzetti, all of us a St. Edmund Prep are most grateful for all that you have done, for your inspiration, guidance, leadership, and friendship. We wish you all the best and an abundance of Godʼs blessings in the days and years ahead as you enter this new part of your lifeʼs adventure. Thank you and congratulations!
Senior Week traditionally begins with The Baccalaureate Mass. On Friday, June 2, the Class of 2017, their families, and the faculty and staff of The Prep gathered at St. Edmund Church to celebrate mass, to give thanks to God, and to pray for our seniors. Afterwards, the families had dinner and seven graduates were given the opportunity to share their thoughts and reflections on their SEP experience.Uploaded Jun 07, 2017
